Shadow Work

Shadow Work brings what has been hidden into awareness with curiosity, compassion and radical acceptance.

To be human is to have a shadow. We all have parts of ourselves we've learned to hide, suppress or reject because they feel unacceptable, unsafe or risked approval or belonging. These messages can come from childhood, family, society, adult experiences and the wider expectations placed upon us.

But our shadow doesn't only hold the parts we struggle to accept, we can hide our power there too. Confidence, ambition, creativity, sensuality, assertiveness or simply the freedom to take up space can become buried when we learn that expressing them comes at a cost. Often this rejection of the shadow can feed self criticism.

As you recognise and reclaim what you've previously rejected, you gain greater freedom to choose what belongs and how to work consciously with your shadow.

What can this approach change for you?

Imagine having the courage and freedom to unashamedly accept yourself even the parts you feel you had to repress. No longer editing and hiding who you are to fit in. a

Have you ever wondered why the same patterns keep appearing, why certain people trigger powerful reactions, or why you understand a behaviour but still repeat it?

Sometimes what influences us most is what we haven't yet learned to see.
